Terms of Use
Last updated: 26 July 2026
These terms govern your use of Dacapo, a piano-learning app published by Djivann Ostrowska (France). By creating an account, you accept them.
The service
Dacapo gives you a personalized learning path, interactive tools, an AI Teacher and a community, to learn or pick the piano back up. It is an educational tool, not a substitute for a professional medical or teaching relationship where one is needed.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for what happens on your account. Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
Subscription, trial and billing
Access is by subscription (monthly, 6-month or annual). A free trial may be offered; unless you cancel before it ends, the subscription starts and renews automatically for the chosen period. You can cancel anytime from Settings; access continues until the end of the paid period. Payments are handled by Stripe.
Refunds and right of withdrawal
As an EU consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Because access to digital content begins immediately, you acknowledge this when you start. Any specific guarantee we advertise applies as stated on the offer page.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service, don't try to break its security, don't resell access, and don't use the AI Teacher for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Content and intellectual property
The app, its lessons and its design belong to Dacapo. Musical works in the repertoire are in the public domain. Your personal practice data is yours.
No warranty / liability
We work hard to keep Dacapo useful and available, but we provide it « as is ». To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; significant changes will be notified. These terms are governed by French law.
